Question

Never used a dual PSU machine before so I need some answers. Do only dual cpu boards require or support dual power supplies? Is there away to turn on the second power supply without having it plugged into the mainboard?

Usually dual power supplies are found in server-type machines, in case one fails, the other one takes over. Good for an environment which needs 100% uptime.
I would think that for a mainboard to get power from a power supply, it should be plugged into the mb
