I've got an Abit BX6 Rev2.0 .... My ASUS board had a function that would restart the computer if power was lost to it...Does the Abit have this? I can't seem to find it...

Here's why I ask...

I got a X10 Appliance Module I want to plug my comp in and have it turn on remotely when I park my car

The problem is that my case doesn't have an On/Off switch...it has a button, puch on/push off..

Any other ideas?

Thanks.

You could do a little wire splicing. I've used different kinds of switches (light switch, little twist thingy, etc.) and power buttons. There's no reason you couldn't just splice a switch onto the cable going onto your mainboard (should be two wires with what looks like a jumper at the end). Just remove it from the power button and install any switch that suits your fancy. I think.

Yeah...I thought about that...but that would be horrible ugly...Maybe if I could find a AT switch small enough...but no luck yet.

Question

Oh... so you are lazy enough to have to do all of this, but you want it to look nice??

I love that idea...

Think management will complain if I put them in my dorm to boot my computer, oh wait my computer is always on.
