I have found out that i cannot enable DMA in my system properties for some reason, and was wondering if there is a registry hack i can use to enable DMA. I have a KT7-raid, with maxtor 30 gig UDMA100 put on the hpt370 controller.

I am by no means an expert on this, but I've got the KT7A-Raid with 2 IBM drives on Raid 0 and a single WD drive (and a CD, CD-RW, and LS-120) on one IDE. I don't have any option for DMA on the Raid (hpt370) drive - only on devices on the other IDE channels.

I suspect there are two kinds of KT7 owners - those who have read Paul's FAQ, and those who need to. I gave it a good look before I ordered mine.
