I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the following computer. I picked up a Pressario 12xl530 which has:

PIII - 850 mhz
15 gig HD
56k/v.90 modem
192 ram with 8mb shared video
8X Dvd
14.1 SVGA TFT screen
etc.

I am not the biggest fan of Compaq computers, but at $1699.99 out the door, it seemed like a pretty good buy. I bought it at Costco, which also allows me to return it for any reason at any time....hence another benefit.

Just wanted to know if anyone has heard anything, or has any suggestions. I originally was going to go for a higher end system, but it was pricing out about a grand higher from Dell or Gateway, but then again it was a whole different category. (1ghz, 128 meg, 10 gig, modem/ethernet, 15.0 SVGA, 32/ 16 mb video card) But as I am low on cash, I tried to go cheap.
