what is "River_State_power_failure" in 2k

what is this error message...
i just installed an "always on" usb scanner.. then i get this message everytime i shut down,a nd it does a "memory dump" it gets to 99 and then shuts down..

it's the TV's alpha rays again
move your computer away from your TV everything will be OK

actually see if you can find Win2k certified drivers for you scanner
if your driver isn't certified it is not guaranteed to work on win2k
