I have an Abit VH6-II mobo, recently I added Crucial 256mb ram to it. There is originally only one 128mb. So I plug the crucial 256mb into slot3 and move the 128mb to slot2. The problem now is that it wouldn't recognize the 128mb ram in slot2 !! ~~ So far it seens that the mobo would only recognize the ram in slot3 (which where the 128mb was) @@ Does anyone know how to fix that or what went wrong?
Thanx for helping out ![]() |

Hmm, did you make sure that the 128mb RAM stick was compatible with the mobo? I know it ran fine before but some memory have problems when run with other sticks of RAM and vice versa. I know a buddy of mine who had all sorts of problems with 3 sticks. They all ran fine independently or in pairs but never all together at the same time. He never did figure out what the problem was and just decided to buy two sticks of compatible 512mb ram.
