Question

Hi there, I just purchased this drive and it says it supports burn-proof. It shipped with easy cd creator 4.02d and for the life of me, I cannot find anything about the burn-proof feature there.

Does the software automatically recognize and support burn-proof? do I need some kind of software/firmware upgrade?

very little information on http://www.liteonit.com

appreciate any help, thx

Easy CD Creator supports BurnProof with versions 4.02 and up. I believe you have to enable the feature somewhere in Easy CD, but I couldn't tell you for sure. I've never had a BurnProof drive and I switched to NTI CD Maker since Easy CD wasn't a big fan of Windows 2000.

I don't think this'll stop anything though - the better you idiot-proof a system, the more impressive the idiot becomes.
