Okay I have a question regarding the CPU.
What is the hight AMD proccesor you can put on this board?

And one more thing has anyone flashed the BIOS with the newest release bios?
And did you have problem flashing? Cause the instruction I see seem complicated.

Thanks,

Flashing Bios

Hi Billy,

If you need help with BIOS flashing, come take a look here http://www.messageking.com/ShowTopic...bios&Relation=

Besides BIOS flashing, you can also get other information regarding your mobo. Just search it.

Hope you'll find your answer there.

Cheers mate.

The highest available with the newest BIOS. That would be 1.4Ghz (before O/C of course. )

check your memory hole, if its enabled, try disabling it, or visaversa

Oh yea, by the way

1. Good MB choice, great for overclocking
2. You may also want to try Disableing your RAID to start with
3. And make sure your Ram timing is not too high, turbo can get a little goofy, try normal for trouble shooting

are you running 100 or 133 fsb?

Abit boards have been notorious for memory problems. Problems have occured if you are mixing differend kinds of ram, or there are even problems on some if you fill up all the slots, even it if is all the same kind of memory. I am currently using a KT7a-RAID as my main system. I haven't noticed any problems because I am using 2x256MB Crucial sticks. Same brand and only 2 of 3 slots taken. I don't know if it is just not a problem anymore or ir I am just not having a problem.

I HAVE had problems in the past, though. I also own a Abit BP6 and an Abit BH6. Other than that, Abit boards rock. I have had no other problems. When I was using the BP6 I was using different kinds of memory. I just switched with my friend so I had 2 of the same and the problem was solved.

grrr... double check the clock speed, make sure the multipliers are right... I had a 1.2 post at 1.5 straight out of the box b4 even entering the bios... the ram checked out ok? could it be your SCSI controller?

The SCSI card work because it is picking up the harddrive and CD-RW

Now I am curious why I can't boot using the floppy so that I can flash it back.

Do you AIM overdrive?
