I am using a 3com router that I got from tigerdirect awhile ago, and I have problem setting it (at 192.168.2.1) to let me send file throught it. I can only receive file by ICQ (using external IP), but not AIM.
I saw there is a way by setting 5 ports in the router to let ICQ send file from there, but that only let 1 computer(IP) to send files, and I have only a max of 10 special ports for the router (so max 2 computer can send). AND I have a total of 6 computers in my house , and that's why I bought the router to hide my IP.I am trying to set up a ftp also, and I tried to do it with the real IP before the router with no success... Can anyone experience in this field guide me with these problems??? |

www.practicallynetworked.com and and the 3com forum at www.dslreports.com/forum/equip,1 Hope that helps. |
