the Soyo Dragon+ is wayyyyy worth the price. Lower priced boards are slower, have more problems, and don't have built in LAn with wake on LAn support and 6channel Audio built in with a smart card reader with USb ports built on. $143 is cheap dude.

I never recommend the Epox 8KHA+ because I got 2 bad ones in a row and my first Dragon+ was perfect. The BIOS trouble with Epox boards in the first batch are still floating around the retail channels so you might get one or 2 of the bad ones before the retailer gets off their ass and actually looks at the bios stuff.

well, I think it rivals the Santa Cruz card as far as the sound quality goes. I guess CPu usage is not a problem since I didn't lose any Framerate when going from a SB to the Onboard stuff. It's 6 channel with Optical and Coax support.

I still think that the ak31 is still one of the best boards out there. It doesn't have much as far as features or software, but it's stable and a good overclocker.
