The processor is not what you have to worry about. DVDs will run with much slower processors, I think even a 266 can run DVDs. The problem you might have is your videocard. You need a new one. I'm not sure if you will be able to run a DVD program with that card.

Your best option would be to get a different videocard. Even videocards that you could get for around $30 or $40 will run DVDs. They'll say that they have built-in hardware decoding, and they should come with software to play DVDs.

Of course, if you do want to check if your card can handle it, I think you can download a demo of PowerDVD.

You can get cheap videocards with a TV out... Or, you could think about a DVD decoder that you can put in a PCI slot...

Dunno, but I still think it would be better to get a new videocard with TV/out...

I think you'd be wasting your time, and money to get a decoder.

Check http://www.pricewatch.com for videocards with TV out...

Maybe time for a new case? or maybe you can find a small video card... you are as likely to find a videocard that fits as you are a decoder card...
