Question Amd 760mp...

Is this the only dual Athlon/Duron chipset available? Also, other than they Tyans, are there any other options for MoBo manufacturers?

Okay, thanks... guess I just got to wait..

Oh, and did I hear correctly... I heard something about the Tyans being able to support processors other than MP in dual mode.

Some apps can actually utilize the second processor. From what I've read, the primary processor runs like a CPU in any other computer. It takes care of the OS and other programs. The secondary processor is devoted to high end applications like Premiere or other workstation type applications.

You're right, most programs can't utilize a second processor, but some can. And most of those require as much juice as you can pour into them.
