Wireless Intellimouse Explorer Jumpy Movements??

I have a new Wireless Intellimouse Explorer and the mouse pointer moves with little jumpy movements, like it was snaping to grid points or pixel to pixel.

My Intellimouse Pro was as smooth as silk but alas they discontinued that model.

As far as I know, I have downloaded all the latest drivers but still no luck.

Any suggestions are welcome.

Thanks

wireless can jump, if there is interference, if the batteries are going, if you have the little radio thing in a stupid spot.

Yeah, I have a wireless Logitech, and for some reason, I can walk as far as 8-10' from the computer, and it will still work. the momement anything gets placed in the line of site, it starts to go screwy.

Either that, or maybe your mouse settings got screwed up some how. My GF had her comp's mouse speed about twice mine, and when I tried to play CS on it, OH BOY!!!... It was scary. Anyway, sorry to get off of track, but maybe the settings are a little screwy.

There aren't that many settings for me to screw up.

I would to set the mouse sensativity but I don't think that's possible with this mouse. There is an enhanced precision button, but I already have that checked.

I will probably end up returning it and go back to my old favorite... Intellimouse Pro. MS doesn't make the Pro version any more and it is the only mouse I have ever really liked.

Thanks for responding.
