Geforce4 (What is nView?)

I have been reading a load of reviews, and all mention nView and how it allows multiview options. Yet I am curious how it works physically. For instance lets say I had 2 CRTs, the GF4MX or Ti line has 1 DVI and 1 VGA, how would I accomplish that?

An adapter maybe? Maybe there is an adapter that will convert DVI to analog.

The adapter idea is just speculation on my part. If I was an engineer thats how I would do it, its cheaper to use an adapter on the DVI then find a way to fit three or four plug-ins onto the back. With an adapter you can modify the card to fit your configuration, be it two LCD panels, or two CRTs, with only two plug-ins.

The gainward Ti4600 from the pictures I've seen has 2 DVI connectors and comes with a DVI -> VGA adapter.

I thought that it was 2 VGAs with DVI adapters.
