Got the card yesterday.
After I play a game with EAX enabled, my internet radio and mp3s play with a lot of irritating reverb. Am I setting something wrong, or does the software not know how to switch between EAX and normal listening? Also...do those of you that have the Audigy install the software suite, or just the drivers? I installed it all...and have been uninstalling progs here and there as I'm finding them unneccesary. Thoughts?

I installed only the drivers. Forget the Creative Bloatware™.

yeah, creative sucks with thier stupid software which takes over all the files with out asking or anything. and sometimes the only way to make things work is with thier software. when i asked creative about my problem (i cant seem to get digital 5.1 sound (SBLive 5.1 platinum and yamaha tss-1)) with my live 5.1, thier response was that i needed to install playcenter2 and enable raw dd5.1 output for it to work. stupid creative.
