a7n-266c and ps/2 strange problems, owners please respond
I suspect that my ps/2 port may be just damaged, but here it what happens with my brand new mainboard:
my configuration first: a7n266c, bios 1001 -d and -e tested athlon xp 1800+ geforce 2 MX (hecrules brand) no other cards installed power supply 350W maxtor 60gb ide, blablabla.. anyway no matter what ps/2 mouse (logitech, a4t, noname), what driver brand / versions and what system (w98se, pure dos), effect is the same: mouse in vertical movement moves a little randomly - stops, accelerates etc. horizontal movement is just as it should be. I suspect ps/2 port failure, but I've seen so many strange things with pcs, that I decided to ask here first. My question to all a7n266-c owners: do you have any problems with ps/2 mouse movement (at let's say standard bios settings) ? No matter what answeris , please respond. I'm in a hurry. Despite this little problem, this mainboard is stable and fast. I really hope there's something wrong with this port... Thanks in advance. |
