5 disc changer

One of the computers in my library has 2, 5 disc-CDroms... one is a 20x, and one is a 12x...

Anyway, I know that it wouldn't be that fast, but I'm thinking that a drive like that might be very useful. Especially if you have to switch between several different programs--like I have to do.

That is wierd. I was talking to a friend tonight and was saying how I wished someone would come out with a drive that had a CD changer in it. I mean, stereos have CD changers, why not computers? You could store all of your CD's in there and never have to worry about them getting lost or damaged. Then just have the drive access them from there. Possibly an external model with something like a 30 or 50 disk changer. Or even internal 10 disk. Who knows...

I think that Sony and Pioneer should add a Firewire interface and data-CD capability to their mega-CD changers. Imagine having 200-300 CDroms available...
