"equivalent battery" brands for camcorders and other stuff
I was just wondering if anyone has experience using equivalent batteries for camcorders and how they perform to the oem ones. Specifically the canon bp 512 and bp 522 for optura 100mc.

I have an extended-life imitation battery for my JVC. I've never had a problem. I got it for less then half of what a JVC battery would have cost. They're probably made in the same factory.

I got mine on ebay so I have no idea who made it. These Optex ones are tier 1 imitations. |
