Hmm...I was bored, and was pondering the idea of putting some of this new, fast as hell DDR ram to use (you know pc3200, 3500)...my processor is already unlocked so I figured "Hey, back down multiplier, buy some corsair pc3200 ddr ram and put mr bus to 200 on cas 2 timings" that would be sweet...but as I thought about it a little bit more I realized that the divider on my ABITKX7-333R board is only 1/5, so if I were to put the bus up that high stuff would start crapping out on me....this lead me to questioning how high the bus could get with a 1/5 divider and not have things like the NIC card start frying, has anyone experimented? My ram is kinda crappy and will only run at 166x2 so I know that much is safe. Also would it be possible for ABIT to realease a bios update that allowed for higher (1/6, 1/7) dividers?
