Post your GeForce Overclocks here
I'm really curious how far ppl have be able to go with their GeForce4's.
I have a Ti4200 64M (reference board built by MSI) that I can take to 294/621 (so far...I think this is the core upper limit, but I haven't found the upper limit on the memory yet) This is with stock cooling.

580...is this on a 64M or 128M? I was really surprised to see how fast my memory OCed. I don't think that I've reached the upper limit, and already its faster than what many hardware reviews are posting.

ti4200 128
actually i ran a bunch of benchmarks and different oc speeds the final max speed i got was 290/590. it would crash when i went to 300/600. also the card gets very hot, ive already polished and added artic silver 3 to the gpu and ram sinks. most of the heat in my case comes from the gf4 i think im going to keep it at 275/550 for the time being until i find more oc results. |

You can help alliviate this problem by sealing your case and making sure it is under positive pressure (a little more air in than out). Then leave the slot near your AGP open as the computer's only vent. That way, hot air leaves from your PS and video card, to keep the hot air from your cpu. The only irritating side effect I've found...when I play 3D games, my office gets wicked hot (15 F higher than the rest of the house). |
