yeah, there are only a handful of cd manufacturers in the world.
check out this link, it was posted on the news page on wednesday by lpm. this is the real way to see if a cd is made by a reliable manufacturer, not by the label on the box

i read another article today at cdmediaworld about the different dyes and patent holders.

also if you visit plextor.be's download page, there is a program that checks the atip info without using the aspi layer, i think. i had been having trouble with other atip readers due to the aspi layer not enabled on my system so when i tried this it worked. i dont know if it is due to the ahead aspi layer or the fact that i have a plextor burner.


btw, if you want to post info in a table format, use the CODE tag to display it properly
