Which NVIDIA Driver?

I have a GeForce4 Ti4200 (AMD Athlon XP 1600+ EPOX 8KHA+ system) and a GeForce2 GTS (Intel P3 800 ASUS P3V4X system). There are so many NVIDIA drivers out there. While the latest one doesn't always mean the best perforamace. Which driver would you recommend?

You could check gamershq.madonion.com forums for more info on the drivers. Most pple with GF4 Ti4200 there use the 40.71 beta driver from Nvidia and it gives point boost in benchmark. That doesn't mean it's good for real gaming but you could give it a try. The latest WHQL (sp??) driver (30.xx) is a good one for game though. I don't know about the GF2 but I believe they suggest 2x.xx driver.

I'm currently using the 40.41 drivers on my 4200 and they work very well...artificial and real benchmarks are fast and clear. (UT2003 looks TOO good-keep getting killed due to distracting visual effects)

Anyway, I'll be updating to 40.71 tomorrow.

Update:

Many ppl seem to like the 40.71 drivers more than the 40.41 drivers-apparently seems to solve a gamma (lighting) issue. I never had this issue and the 40.41 drivers were a tad faster for me... so it's a wash between the 40.41 and the 40.71 drivers. I'm staying with the 40.71 drivers because the speed drop is very small (<1%).
