Unhappy No new Turtle Beach soundcards?

Definitely suckage if true.

"I meant the second, that they won't be releasing any more new soundcards, but i don't know if they're going to stop manufacturing the current model of TBSC's or not (i think they will). The rep guy i talked to said he was dissapointed about it too. He said the reason is they think the market is changing and they're changing their focus (audiotron type devices i assume).
Basically, they're stepping out of the soundcard market."

Turtle Beach has been in the sound card business for a while. And they make good products.

Turtle Beach uses Cirrus Logic's 4630 chip. http://www.turtlebeach.com/site/prod...z/indetail.asp

I hear what you are saying fool. That people want something decent without spending a lot. The c-media integrated sound on the mobo's does the job.

from nvnews.net forums:
"I read on the Hecules Forum that the reason they switched to the other chip os because the CS4630 is not available anymore."
That would tie in with no more Santa Cruz's.
