Using CD burner with Audible.com files... any NERO plugins?
Just downloaded a file from Audible.com (actually purchased this... can you believe it?).
Anyways... buring the file to CD has been a MAJOR pain in the ass. All I want to do... is put it on CD with Nero, but they INSIST on using the Roxio software. Tried using Nero, but the format is not recognized. Dave. |

Are you using AudibleManager to copy the audio books to CD? I've used it before and haven't had any problems.

Yeah... I tried converting without success. Maybe protected, somehow? Anyways... yes, AudibleManager. I fired it up today, and it looked like it was working. But is there an easy way to get the full-speed recording? I signed up for the 30-day trial of the Roxio burning. But it still tried to to a test run before burning. Which was excruciatingly long... is there a way to config the speed within the program? Sounds like you know what you're talking about, you Hoser (meant in the highest respect, of course). The AudibleManager converted the first CD-worth into .wav's. So I just grabbed those and threw them into Nero and burned at full speed. The AudibleManager seems bloated... maybe I need to play around with it more, eh? Can you think of any other ways to help? Thanks! Dave. |
