AGP 2x??

I just set up my Gigabyte GA-7VAXP and for some reason it is running at AGP 2x... There is nothing in the bios that states to change this to 4x and I figured it would do it auto or something (being as it is an 8x board)..

Anyone have any ideas on how I can change this?? I'm trying to tweak out my system so I can break the 10,000 barrier on 3DMark2001se..

Gracias..

Send a message via MSN to faither
Hit Ctrl-F1 from the main BIOS Menu. It'll bring you another option "Advanced Chipset Features." You can set the AGP from here, just make sure your card supports it. There are plenty of other tweaks available from this page. Happy motoring.

Thanks bud.. I figured that out like 2 seconds after posting the previous message.. I remembered reading something about that awhile ago and it just popped into my head..

MANY other features now.. weird.. half the stuff that is there now wasn't there before..

I probably should have read the mobo book huh.. heh it should be in there..

Thanks tho!! my 3dmark 2001 score went up over 1,000 by switching to 4x..

....slowly inches towards the 10,000 point mark...slowly...
