Comdex: AMD & Apple
AMD is supposed to have a keynote tommorrow afternnon. Rumors say that this years Comdex has a strong Apple presence, and Apple is supposed to be on hand for the announcements tommorrow.
AMD Zone states Quote:
Is this the AMD / Apple relationship that has been rumored for the past few months? Will we be seeing X on x86? The announcements are supposed to be made tomorrow, Nov 19.

I doubt it. I really doubt it. Remember, "shattering" coming from a company means "neat".
And IIRC, it's an Intel/Apple rumor. (Although I do like AMD better, and think they would be more likely to go for it.)

no, it isn't. recent reports of welded shut boxes running OS X using AMD processors have been running rampent. AMD needs the business badly, and frankly, apple never ever annouces product at Comdex.
