stop the beeps
I Have APC 350VA Back-UPS CS
and i want to make it stop beeping when it is now conected to the wall power. i want to be able to use the Battery with out hearing it beep all the time. I cant find any button on it to make it do this. so is there soem way i can remove the beeper. Thanks GrapeDude |

i would just learn to love with it. removing the speaker will void the warranty. I have had older apc units apart and they are fairly easy to get open, but they were a few years old, so designs may change.
if you still want to remove the beep, open it up and unsolder the speaker. That should stop the beeping as long as it doesnt check to see if the speaker is present, which i doubt

actually, i don't know about yours, but my APC has dip switches in the back and one of them will disable the beeping.
