digital camera
I saw the earlier thread about digital video cameras. i was only looking at the sony until i read your recommendations.
i would like to compare the sony to the canon. the optura 100/200 to the trv27 or trv50 - thats about the level i'm lookin at. i want good auto fucntions, good video pic quality, don't really care bout still images. and decent battery life. - it's for the baby ![]() does anyone know any good review sites specifically for digital video cams. i went to epinions which is somewhat helpful, but i'm spending a ton o money on this stuff and i wanna be sure i'm getting the best for my money. thanks ![]()

I have the canon optura 100 right now and have been using it for about 7 months now, great camcorder. I checked out the 200 when it came out and wasn't as impressed. Feature-wise nothing much spectacular and I did not like the eyepiece being fixed and slightly smaller. The camera is a bit smaller which has its advantages and disadvantages. If I did it over again I think I would still get the 100 over the 200. It just feels better in my hands.
