DDR ram in pcmark

could some people post that brand and speed of ddr they have and what score they get in pcmark. thanks

I have 512megs of pc2700 Samsung with a 333fsb on most aggressive timings...my scores are in my sig.

thanks i get 31XX with a stick of Kingmax 3200

it should be near 4500. would it be decent of me to sell it as a 2100 stick as it benches in 2100 spec range? of course telling the buyer the situation. feed back would be great.

it all depends....what processor do you have? If you have an athlon xp with a 133x2 bus a 3100 score is normal, no matter how fast the ram is it wont do much better than that without the bus being jacked up or the timings put at a more aggressive level, so if your ram has pc3200 chips I think you should sell it as that maybe just let the guy know that if he doesn't plan on doing any overclocking then it might not perform to its potential. that would be ok if its bench in sissoft was decent but frankly it sucks... you really cant tell on the system but if ur an anal bench craving chiba monkey it might drive you (the buyer) nuts...

Where did you buy this ram? Return it.

What kind of settings are you running? If your computer will run right with the ram set at 3200 speeds, than there's something wrong in the testing. Is it a cas 2.5 stick?

BTW, I still have my stick of Corsair XMS2700c2 that I ran at 350 c2. Don't remember my sis scores. Will dl and run test next weekend if I have time.

My PNY PC2100 (Infineon - CAS2 @ 133Mhz) has the stock memory score of 3486. Here is the link.

its 3200 Kingmax that i got from googlegear.com they are a large pile of crap. i told them that the ram gets horrible bandwidth scores they say send it back. they benchmark it with PCmark it get 29XX and send the same stick back. i hate them. pathetic service.
