RAM question
Hi guys,
Best buy has some K-Byte ram on sale that I was thinking about getting. 512MB of PC2100 for $149.99-$30 Rebate. Any good? Any thoughts on this? I know I should go with the better stuff, but I'm just so cheap ![]() Thanks! |

You can find some PC2700 512 MB sticks for that same price on the net.
I say stick with the internet. Much cheaper.

I've bought RAM twice from newegg.com and had a good all around experience, cheap prices/shipping.

Ya...newegg is the king of price and customer service. Also good is googlegear.com.
I aggree Corsec: use the internet...BUT CHECK WWW.RESELLERRATINGS.COM before you buy and avoid BuyAIB.

Thanks for the help guys. I've bought from almost every major Internet dealer, and for normal things (hard drive, memory, video cards, etc...) I like to buy local. I get the ability to just take it back or exchange it if I have a problem. Also, with the Amex Gold card, the price difference really doesn't matter as long as you find the identicle product.
Thanks again for the help! |
