somethings wrong w/ the VTech Phone

My phone doesnt work. I have on of those cheapy vtech wireless phones in the apartment. When you put the handset in the charger cradle, the light that indicates that its charging is blinking rapidly, instead of just being on. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this. I hope its not the battery, coz those things cost an arm and a leg.

I used to have a vTech cordless phone. My suggestion is to open the door and throw that thing as far as you can

(Yeah, I know I'm not a lot of help!)

have you tried unplugging it, leaving it a few hours, then plugging it back in? also, is there any way you can discharge the battery?

SOmetimes those Vtech phones cost about ths same as their batteries. Toss it!!

I had a Vtech phone and it worked good for about a year then crapped out. I would suggest unplugging it as rajatQ2 suggested.

somethings wrong with all Vtech phones. They don't make phones, they make pretty pieces of crap.
