dual monitor and playing video

i know its not good to post the same thread in 2 areas, but i kinda wanna know how to do this and no one is responding to the other one in the tech on. soo...

i have a dell 2650 laptop. i can do dual monitoring across both monitors that i have, but i can't get video to work. it plays, but the screen that doesnt have window media player playing in it plays the video in full screen. is there anyway to set this up so it doesnt do that?

im running on a geforce2 go

i dont totally understand what you are talking about, but i have dual monitors w/ a radeon 9000, and i drag windows media player onto whichever desktop and maximize it. If i dont maximize it in that window, some times i get a black screen instaed of the movie.

can you elaborate?
