Geforce4 ti4800???

4800???

It's been awhile since I was in the market for a video card. What's this 4800 card? I would assume it's better than the 4600...but after that whole GF4 MX debacle, I dunno if that's a safe assumption.

Is this 4800 the best GF4 Titanium card on the market???

unfortunately there aren't any gf4 ti4800 gpu's... the card company probably just took a 4600 and overclocked it a bit. Then they name it a 4800 because well, most people think it's nvidia's highest end chip and thus buy it.

Yes. The GeForce 4 Ti 4800 is a GeForce 4 Ti4600 just with AGP8X support. AGP8X support is much ado about nothing.

ATI does the same crap.

Radeon 9100=Radeon 8500
Radeon 9200=Radeon 9000 with AGP8X
