Your nvidia driver version?

A friend plays Warcraft 3, and has a 4200 Ti 128MB card.

A 1.7 celeron and a gig of DDR.

Anyone fiddled around with different driver version who plays that game and come to any conclusions? As in, "This version is much better than that..." or the like.

I tried the 43.00 version... but it bluescreens.

He has DirectX 9.

Thanks!

Dave.

Guru3d.com has the new whql certified driver, 42.92 Its really good. Slightly better than 41.09 and more stable than any of the beta drivers like 43.00

43.00 has been perfect for me. What does the bluescreen say?

I think he wrote it down... because he told me when he called... I'll see if he still has it.

Those scores are well within the margin of error. Just with the one that crashes the least often.

I haven't used a driver set that was unstable since...the 29's. And, I haven't encountered the FSAA problem people on the forums of www.gurued.com seem to frequently encounter. Altogether, I haven't seen a lick of difference since the mid 30's.
