Dual Monitor question
i just hooked up a dual monitor setup and it always seems that one is darker and blury-er than the other even tho it's the same monitor (SyncMaster 955df)... i dont know if it might be the video card (radeon 9700) but it shouldn't be ... i really don't know ... is it supposed to be like this??? ... help~

I have a dual monitor setup at work and the monitors are twins, also. I am also noticing the same thing while using a Radeon 7500. It seems it might be that fact that you have to convert the DVI to VGA on one of them. When I first set it up I tried setting all of the settings the same on the monitors, but it looked different.

I have 9700 too running with dual monitor. Without any additional tuning, they both look great. Guess I'll just keep my fingers crossed. Which driver are you using?

I have similar setup at work but with an older Radeon.
I always thought that it was the monitors, but now that you mention it, I checked by swapping the connections between the monitors and YES you're right. The right monitor always looks darker regardless of which physical monitor it actually is.
