(I noticed that one of the reviews at newegg was from "Kevster." Is this *our* Kevster?)

Anyway, I am building a box to show DIVX movies downstairs on my home theatre. It will be a P3-800 (or 900). I also need this as a platform for showing PowerPoint videos.

Anyway, this card link2 link1 has both S-Video and composite TV-out.

My question: Does anyone know if both outputs can be used at the same time?

This may not answer your question but here are some ideas. One output probably supercedes the other one, much like you see in DVD players, so if you have both plugged in only the dominate one will work (only a guess). If you need to the output to multiple TVs then you can always get a splitter, and if you need a S-vid and comp output split the s-vid and put a comp adapter on one. Don't know for a fact if it will work, just a theory.

better make sure it's not an S-Video IN. As in, connect a VCR or DVD to it to watch them on your computer...

I actually have the Radeon 8500 128Mb All-in-Wonder card. It has multiple inputs/outputs that can be used at the same time.

Looking real quick at this card, I am pretty cure you can only use one or the other (S-video or composite).

Oh, and as far as reviews go there are a few kevsters out there - including the kevster who STOLE kevster.com before I could register it. I don't remember writing a review on newegg.com about a video card, so it was probably the evil kevster who did it (he probably has a goatee too - just like in that star trek episode)
