The 800FSB chip started with the 3.0Ghz unit, but they're going to produce slower speed ones soon.

Yup, the 2.4c is 800mhz. Hardocp loves it. An overclockers dream and the next 300a celeron is the word on the street. With a price around 175$ its going to be the cpu for overclockers for the rest of this year.

SBP posted this chart in another thread of when the prices will go down.
I would love to upgrade my system at home with one of these p4 800FSB chips. Do you guys think that the extra 400 mhz from 2.4 to 2.8 is worth the extra $100? Also, could one of you recommend a nice motherboard for this chip?

the new 2.4 is called 2.4c with 800fsb, old one is 2.4b with 533fsb. u would get the 2.4c if u r planning on a new pc. from wat i read, u can oc it up to 3.4-3.5ghz stable with air cooling. of course u need pc3500 ram. btw, 2.4c is out if anyone interesting in it.
