Question Older Video Cards

The video card in my old machine died and I want to replace it so I have a networkable machine to play Delta Force Black Hawk down. I am running XP Pro on the box and it is a AMD K6 950mhz box with 512mg ram. Motherboard supports both 2x and 4x.

Any suggestions for a cheep card that would do the job? I have seen the a 64mg 4xagp radeon 7000 vs geforce4 440mx but I don't know much about these cards.

If I have to spend more than $75-100 bucks on a new video card I will probably just go buy a new machine.

Also check www.newegg.com in the refurb section, and search for video cards under $35. Sometimes refurbs come in at about 50% of their retail cost. BTW: I have bought several refurb items from newegg (open box returns) and have NEVER had a defective item.

I'd get a G-Force 3 or a Radeon 8500. Both are dx8 which is better than an MX and should be sub $100.

If you look around sometimes you can find a geforce 4 ti4200 128mb for $100. That is the best bang for the buck in that range.
