explanation of hard drive specs
Im looking at drives on pricewatch (120gb) and I have no idea what is good. I know that i should get 7200RPM...but what is a good buffer size? Is ATA133 the fastest out right now? Thanks

8mb buffer is the best you can get at the moment.
ATA133 is the fastest now...but it's just a few numbers. HDDs don't even really saturate ATA100. So, if you see a good deal on the Western Digital w/ 8mb cache, don't be scared off by the ATA100 spec.
