I have the same mouse/keyboard set. I had the same problem with it when I had it plugged in through the USB port. For some reason it would keep freezing on my computer. I eventually gave in and just used the adapter to plug it into through the PS2 mouse/keyboard ports and it started working better. Don't know if that applies in your case though.

Check the placement of your reciever and remove clutter behind the keyboard, I have the same problems that you describe and doing those two simple things help.

when i had this problem, it was plugged into the PS/2 ports. i called logitech and they told me to plug into USB. no clutter around keyboard. maybe i go back to PS/2 port. it's working fine now. stupid keyboard. hehe.
