can you run faster speed ram on a lower speed mother board.
ie ddr 2700 on a ddr2100 rated motherboard? |

Any of the higher speed RAM modules will run at a slower speed. And if you want to make a slower speed run at 2100, you will need to overclock it. But slower RAM is not guarenteed to run at 2100.
