Dual Xeon & WIndows XP

Hey,
I have a dual Xeon workstation that i just started playing with. I installed a program (Grid.org cancer research) that is supposed to suck up all the processor to process results. It runs XP Pro, because i have an App that i really need on that computer, and i cant change it right now.

However, it is only using one of the two processors. Has anyone ever seen this before?
When i look at task manager, the grid.org EXE file uses a maximum of 50% of the CPU, and System Idle Process has up to the other 50%. So this thing is only using one processor..... too bad. ANyone have any ideas?
Thanks

prolly wasn't coded to take advantage of SMP, just run two of them (or 4 with HT), and set each program to be on seperate (virtual) proccessors.

Hit Ctrl+Shift+Esc, click on the processes tab. find your program running. Right click on the program and choose Affinity. Now check one processor but leave the other one unchecked. click OK. Now right click on the prog again and choose priority, the click on real time.

It's very important that you do it in this order. If you assign real time priority to a process on both processors, you'll effectively lock up your machine.

Have fun.

Scary stuff. Don't try this one at home, kids.
