3.5" External Enclosure for HD

I am thinking about getting this enclosure for the 120 GB HD (the one from the deals a couple of days ago) I bought:

http://www.dealsonic.com/bymecoidetof2.html

Does anyone have any opinions? Or suggestions for a different brand/model? I am preferrably looking for one that has both USB 2.0 and Firewire but at least USB 2.0. Also, the enclosure would have a fan built in. If any one has any constructive or helpful advice/comments/feedback/etc... I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks.

i have one that's just for firewire....

in my opinion, i would think they're all pretty much the same thing, so just look for the best price and features. some (or maybe all?) say there is a hard drive size limit.

other enclosures can handle more than 1 drive and those have fans to cool the drives (i think).

Thanks. That is what I figured. I didn't figure there would be much difference between brands. I just didn't want to buy the one brand that sucks.

I also saw this one at compgeeks: http://www.compgeeks.com/details.asp?invtid=ME-720U2F

I have one of the enclosures that you have linked to above. It works, but is slightly loud with a 120gb hard drive in it. I also have an ADS Technologies external casing as well, that i purchased at Microcentre 2 years ago. It's built more solidly, but cost a bit more. If you can spend more money, get the ADS Tech casing...If you want to just save money, then get the one you posted above. It works just fine.

Wow, the ADS Tech with both USB and Firewire is like $95 + ship. That is a little too expensive, in my opinion. Double the price is just a little too steep. Thanks for the advice, though. I do appreciate your input.

if you don't use it a lot, noise probably won't be an issue, i don't use mine much at all (pretty much for backing up data)
