vcard help
well, i'm thinking about putting together another system to replace my current one. one of my main concerns is the video card. i want this new system to last me a while so i'd like the video card to keep up... i don't need anything top-of-the-line, as if i can afford it anyways. but what's something nice for ~$200?
once again, i turn to you G|A for my computing needs. |

You can get a retail GeForce4 Ti4800 for around $140 shipped. Check it out at pricewatch.com. Otherwise, ATI Radeon 9700 non-pro is another good choice.

I agree with SBP. The FX 5600 card is way too slow and way too expensive. A gf4 4800 is decent but slower than a 9500pro in some cases and not dx9 complient. Your best best is to get a 9700 non pro.
