Cool

No, Not just panties, Girls in panties and Girls without panties "Although I love that too"
I'd like to see Apex do an occasional "Upgrade that Turtle to Rabbit speed for less than $500" I know it can be done and unfortunatly I'm an idiot when it comes to overclocking and whatnot (
I would like Apex to do a little single page which would be devoted to the:
1. Buying the components at the cost which we Apex fans have become accostomed to paying.
2. Installing these components correctly.
3. Tweaking-Overclocking Etc. instructions for us dopes who don't really get the math of Voltage @ So and So, FSB at this and processor @ this ratio give you a clock speed of "Heaven"

I personally read Apex forums daily and your deals are mine and my wife's favorite excuse to spend but I think it's time you brought it all together for us dopes who go out and buy overclocked set-ups on-line because that is our only hope of owning a computer that is cutting edge.
Thanks for being all you are )
PS I have a celeron 300a @ 450 with the bh6 which I bought a year ago for a lot more than it was worth because it came with instructions "I know, I'm an @$$4073"

Hear hear!

I feel the same way. I love this site, event though I have been spending money on things I don't really need, but who can let some of these deals pass up? The prices are INSANE!!!

I am shopping for my new system now, and it will be my first overclocking experience. I hope to get a 550E flip-chip with the ABIT BE62. I've read this is a very easy combination to overclock, given the Abit's Softmenu. I know they guys here overclocked similar setups, and would be nice to see a write up on their experiences.

Sorry, dude. Apex is on vacation (lazy bum) and I have to work full time. Your suggestion is a pretty good one, so I think it might be a possibility. I'm sure that he will give you a response when he gets back.

Actually, that's a VERY good suggestion. In fact, I think we definitely need to do that.

BTW, Bloodymess, you just won your choice of:

Alpha PFH6035 Heatsink (socket)
Alpha P60120SBC-60B Heatsink (slot)
Lethal Weapon 4 DVD

Um, I know I have some other stuff too, but can't seem to remember what. I'm still on vacation and can't check yet. LOL.

Anyhow, just email me what you want and your address. I'll be back sometime tomorrow night.

hey

y'know, this is just one of many great sites... hard to believe sometimes with the number of horrible nine inch nails' midi file loading pieces of crap sites that have polaroids of some ass playing quake 2 with a sidewinder... rotating skulls, flames, and an alias wavefront (pirated copy) rendered rotating mailbox.... but i digress

something that would put this one way up there, this being the topic of tweakin' the site, is a comprehensive list of what can be done with each processor... obviously not everything can be covered, but with a database list sort of thing and *possibly* with user additions, that would simply rock.

maybe some ASP code would do it? hmm. well thanks for everything
