Use the program and the java buddy at the same time. Of course you can only chat on the java version though.

yeah, like speedracer said, you can use the aol instant messenger client software along with java-web-based quick buddy. it's fun to mess with people who have no idea that the same person can be logged in with different names. quite entertaining!!
