Our network guy had built an Office2000 install script and put in on a
shared drive. I had been using a development machine that did not have Office installed, so I decided to to install it using the script file. At one point during the process, the machine needed to restart itself and it did. Now the problem--> part of the script included a windows login. However the login is apparently no good anymore because it errors out and freezes. I can't get by it except by reooting and then it just happens all over again. Is there a way to bypass this, login to windows and then kill it? This is Windows2000 Pro. What I have tried: 1.) Safe Mode- (still happens) 2.) Holding Ctrl-ALt-Del down when booting up-(still happens) 3.) I can access the registry remotely, looked in hkey\local machine\ software\microsoft\windows\current version \ run and runonce but was unable to find anything unusual. |

Thanks- tried it but the login box still comes up, already pre-filled in with the script user and password values, errors out and freezes the system. Same as before.
