Opinions on these Global Mobile Phones

The head of my department does a lot of travelling abroad and is interested in getting a new cell phone since he lost his last one. He has asked me what my opinion of these three phones are. If anyone has any advice or knowledge of these phones, I would appreciate your input.

They are:

Sony Ericsson T616 Global

Panasonic GU-87 Global

NEC 515 Global

Actually these are the non-global models from Cnet but I figured they can't be too different. Thanks for your advice.

Just a note on the sony-ericsson, its real crappy on RF range. Had a t68i and it was so bad I thoght it was t-mo, but switched to a nokia 3650, reception is awesome, I get about the same amount of coverage as I was on verizon. My friend has a t616, and same problem as I do hear similarly from most other people on the net that have it. I think its a trend of sony-ericsson phones to have abysmal RF ranges, cool phones. . . but whats it worth if you can't get a connection?

About the other two, I'd go with the panasonic. . . but I have no real reason besides I've heard more better things about it over the NEC.

Don't get Sony.
I would go with the Nokia 6610 (T-Mobile). It's one of the best world phone out there.
