Cable Modem question

Does getting high speed cable access require an addition wire to be run, or does it come down the existing pipe like DSL?

(I'm in a house and could use the connection for work, but it's not just my house. The idea of additional wiring could get my company paid for internet access veto'd by the rightful owners.)

Oh, and DSL aint available.

down the existing coax pipe, if its already set up in your area. Call your local cable company for details.
