Ok I was thinking of getting a new battery charger and going back into the rechargeable battery business. But I would prefer to use my existing charger if it will work this is the specs on it: I have a GE battery Charger Model BC8B Nickel Cadmium Battery Charger
Input: 120v 14w 60/60 Hz
Output: 2.9 / 8.7 VDC 120/14 mA


And it says if you use batteries other than GE branded batteries that they will Burst or explosde.

Will this charger still work on newer NI-MH (nickel metal hydride) or NI-CD (nickel cadmium). This charger will charge 8 batteries AA, AAA, C, D or 2 9v batteris.

Or should I invest in a new charger. If I need a new charger is thisone a good one?
